In keeping with the theme of my recent post, CBD Skincare, I’m going to review Milk Makeup’s Kush Mascara. If you read my last post, you may recall the short description of the complicated reality of cannibinoids. This mascara contains cannabis sativa seed oil (hemp oil) which does not necessarily contain a high percentage of CBD (just one of many cannibinoids). Even without CBD, hemp seed oil is known for being incredibly moisturizing!
While the cannabis sativa seed oil is the feature ingredient, it is not the only ultra moisturizing ingredient. You will also find cupuacu butter, poppy seed oil, glycerin and sunflower oil- all of which are excellent moisturizers.
In terms of appearance, the best features are the lack of clumping as well as the high pigmentation and sheen. However, I find the look to be pretty average for the cost. I do plan to repurchase because of the nourishing properties.
I’m wearing two coats on my top lashes and just a touch on my bottom lashes.
The best thing about this mascara is the incredible feel it has! Touching my eyelashes, they feel like my own, natural, bare lashes. Considering that the drying effect of most mascaras is a contributing factor to lash shedding, use of this product should help your lashes grow longer and fuller. You may even decide to try their grow serum for assistance.
Above is the before and after on my lashes.
